Same hoodie same infusible ink used but Hoodie on the right with the more vivid picture is the one that I used the press on the other is using an iron. The only thing I'd say is it seemed like there were parts that didn't transfer well the super dark parts were the parts I tried to correct because they were much lighter than the rest but idk if that was some sort of user error or not in any way its better than my original method soJust like the title says. Good press does what I need it to. Warms up pretty quickly. Bought to try sublimation at a good price. I haven’t had any problems subbing on shirts, socks, car coasters and so far so good. I made a quick jig and did the socks in like an hour. That was design and sub. I haven’t tried htv yet just sublimation, but I’m sure it would be fairly quick. The machine is heavier then I thought it would be but that’s what you need in sublimation. Your force plus it’s weight gives you that pressure you need for subbing. I’ve only owned it for a couple of months but find the size is good especially if your doing 8.5 x 11 paper projects but bigger sizes is definitely possible. I think it’s a good buy as long as you don’t have to mass produce anything. All in all a good press for the money if just starting out.I’m so happy I decided to go with this brand it saves me a lot of time for what I’m using it for. I customize clothing with hotfix rhinestones and this works well I love love my heat press ! It was more affordable and works just as the other well known brand . One of the best purchases I’ve made ‘I'll preface this by saying I have only just gotten this, but I AM SO PLEASED.I borrowed the Cricut press from a friend a few weeks ago for a multi-shirt project (instead of using a regular iron) and realized I needed a press too, but I didn't want to spend the money on a name brand. After some research I ordered this one.Nicely packaged, this press came with attractive little practice HTVs (I didn't use them yet) so but these are to try it out on the nice storage bag. The Cricut one also comes with a bag and practice HTV, but the bag is a chintzy linen-like material and the HTV is a glitter "C". This bag is a heavy duty, velvety material and the HTVs are full color, and images of strawberries, a bald eagle, and a few others. Both come with a tray to rest the hot press in for safety, but the Cricut one is pretty standard. This one has extra little pads in the corners that seem to go an extra step in even protecting the tray from direct heat. Only the Cricut comes with a heat pad to layout your project, but I just used an old cloth placemat, and it was fine. Lastly, I don't know if I'm imagining it, but I feel like this one was easier to lift and use. Maybe that's just my joy.?I used it to do two cotton tshirts and one baseball journey. All three were incredibly easy, I followed the same setting for each with two glitter transfers, and two regular sieser vinal transfers. I posted the pictures. I will be trying to do vinal on cookies and some sublimation in the next week, but if they go as easily as the projects this morning, then I will be in heaven.Less expensive and works great for sublimation and using htv vinyl.Needed a bigger heat press and didn’t want to pay for a “big name”heat press…this model is absolutely great and for much less than the “big name” model. Heats evenly, easy to use and there is an operation brochure that is actually quite handy. Great model and even better price.Love the readout so you know exactly what the temp is combined with the countdown timer makes it super easy to use.I’ve used it twice, it’s very easy to use and it has done exactly what I needed.
